If so then you should consider becoming a member of the Ashe County Rescue Squad. As a member you can accomplish all these goals as well as the opportunity to help Ashe County.

Ashe County Rescue Squad is looking for new members now, trained or untrained. We can help you to learn and grow. You will be joining a family of members who work to help our community.

​

We take classes mostly thru Wilkes Community College, but also from other schools. Community College classes for medical and rescue training are at no cost to the student. Our members range from Medical Responders to Paramedic on the medical side and Rescue Technician for rescue. We also are able to travel to other specialized schools to learn new and better ways of saving lives.
